Certificate management for construction and plant training providers
In construction, a certificate is a gate. No valid card or ticket, no site access, no work. That makes verification the feature that matters most, and it is the one most providers handle by answering the phone.
Train Aid Solutions issues certificates that anyone can check in seconds, and chases the renewal before the ticket lapses.
What makes construction training different
A site manager at the gate at half six in the morning needs to know whether the operative in front of them is trained. They are not going to email you and wait. A QR code on the certificate that resolves to a live verification page answers that on the spot.
Forged and altered tickets circulate in construction more than in most sectors, and a doctored PDF carrying your logo is your reputational problem as much as the site's. Verification that resolves to your record, not to the document, closes that off.
CITB SSSTS and SMSTS run five years, with a refresher required before expiry. CSCS cards run five years. NPORS and CPCS categories have their own cycles. Five years is long enough that nobody remembers, and the operative discovers the problem when they are turned away from a site.
The card belongs to the person, not the company. Whoever they work for next needs to verify a certificate issued by a provider they have no relationship with.
Site cabins, no printer, patchy signal, twenty operatives to get through before the shift starts. The register needs to work on a phone.
Producing certificates by hand for a hundred operatives a week is a job someone is being paid to do. That is the cost the software replaces.
How Train Aid Solutions fits
A site manager, a principal contractor or a new employer scans the code and confirms it is genuine. No call to you, no delay at the gate, no altered PDFs passing as yours.
Attendance, Completed or Failed, scores against your own criteria, notes. Done from the cabin, not typed up that evening.
Set the validity period and learners get a branded reminder before it lapses, whether that is two years or five. Operatives rebook with you rather than with whoever they find when they get turned away.
Your logo, your colours, correct dates, sent from your own domain so they arrive looking legitimate to the compliance inbox that receives them.
Outcome scores, session documents and a learning-outcomes summary against every course date, plus a full log of every certificate and email sent on your behalf. When a Tier 1 contractor audits your delivery for their client, that evidence exists.
What it does not do
It is not a card scheme and it does not replace your awarding organisation or scheme registration. Where a course leads to a CITB, NPORS or CSCS card, the scheme issues the card; this manages your own certificate, your records and your renewal contact. It is not an e-learning platform or a booking system either.
Getting started
Create your account, brand it, take your first register. Live in minutes.
Your existing training history imports free of charge and without using seats, so operatives you trained three years ago start generating renewal reminders now rather than in five years' time.
Every plan includes every feature. Plans differ only in monthly learner seats, which suits the variable class sizes construction training runs on.
